Barangay Maslog

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Maslog is one of the administrative divisions of Balilihan in Bohol, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Maslog had a population of 508. This made it the 23rd largest of 31 barangays in Balilihan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Maslog accounted for approximately 2.72% of the total population of Balilihan, which stood at 18,694 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Maslog moving from 524 residents to 508 residents, an intercensal change of -3.1%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Maslog is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Balilihan is a municipality comprising 31 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Maslog, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
