Barangay San Isidro

Barangay San Isidro is a small barangay in the municipality of Balilihan, located in the province of Bohol, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Isidro had a population of 516. This made it the 22nd largest of 31 barangays in Balilihan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Isidro accounted for approximately 2.76% of the total population of Balilihan, which stood at 18,694 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Isidro moving from 455 residents to 516 residents, an intercensal change of +13.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Isidro as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
