Barangay Aglimocon

Barangay Aglimocon is a small barangay in the municipality of Ma-Ayon, located in the province of Capiz, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Aglimocon had a population of 1,474. This made it the 13th largest of 32 barangays in Ma-Ayon by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Aglimocon accounted for approximately 3.58% of the total population of Ma-Ayon, which stood at 41,226 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Aglimocon moving from 1,321 residents to 1,474 residents, an intercensal change of +11.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
