Barangay Duluan

Barangay Duluan forms part of Ma-Ayon, a municipality in Capiz, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Duluan had a population of 688. This made it the 31st largest of 32 barangays in Ma-Ayon by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Duluan accounted for approximately 1.67% of the total population of Ma-Ayon, which stood at 41,226 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 662 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 688 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +3.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Duluan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Ma-Ayon is a municipality comprising 32 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Duluan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
