Barangay East Villaflores

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay East Villaflores is one of the administrative divisions of Ma-Ayon in Capiz, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay East Villaflores had a population of 1,637. This made it the 7th largest of 32 barangays in Ma-Ayon by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay East Villaflores accounted for approximately 3.97% of the total population of Ma-Ayon, which stood at 41,226 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,659 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,637 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -1.3%, consistent with a broadly stable settlement. Barangay East Villaflores is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
