Barangay Zone 6 (Pob.)

Situated in San Roque, Northern Samar, Barangay Zone 6 (Pob.) is one of 16 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Zone 6 (Pob.) had a population of 2,111. This made it the 5th largest of 16 barangays in San Roque by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Zone 6 (Pob.) accounted for approximately 7.06% of the total population of San Roque, which stood at 29,882 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,263 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,111 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -6.7%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Zone 6 (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

San Roque is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Zone 6 (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
