Barangay Laureta (Pob.)

Barangay Laureta (Pob.) is a small barangay in the municipality of Solsona, located in the province of Ilocos Norte, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Laureta (Pob.) had a population of 1,449. This made it the 4th largest of 22 barangays in Solsona by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Laureta (Pob.) accounted for approximately 5.83% of the total population of Solsona, which stood at 24,851 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Laureta (Pob.) changed from 1,438 to 1,449, a shift of +0.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in Solsona. Barangay Laureta (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
