Barangay Barobo

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Barobo is one of the administrative divisions of City of Valencia in Bukidnon, Northern Mindanao, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Barobo had a population of 4,117. This made it the 18th largest of 31 barangays in City of Valencia by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Barobo accounted for approximately 1.90% of the total population of City of Valencia, which stood at 216,546 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 4,123 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 4,117 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -0.1%, consistent with a broadly stable settlement. Barangay Barobo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Valencia is a city comprising 31 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Barobo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Bukidnon, which contains 464 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Barobo ranks 112th by 2020 population. Bukidnon is classified as a 1st by the Bureau of Local Government Finance, a category that reflects the province's annual regular income.
