Barangay Concepcion

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Concepcion is one of the administrative divisions of City of Valencia in Bukidnon, Northern Mindanao, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Concepcion had a population of 5,234. This made it the 16th largest of 31 barangays in City of Valencia by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Concepcion accounted for approximately 2.42% of the total population of City of Valencia, which stood at 216,546 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 4,193 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 5,234 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +24.8%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Concepcion as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Valencia is a city comprising 31 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Concepcion, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Bukidnon, which contains 464 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Concepcion ranks 78th by 2020 population.
