Barangay Jebaca

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Jebaca is one of the administrative divisions of Ma-Ayon in Capiz, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Jebaca had a population of 918. This made it the 26th largest of 32 barangays in Ma-Ayon by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Jebaca accounted for approximately 2.23% of the total population of Ma-Ayon, which stood at 41,226 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 809 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 918 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +13.5%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Jebaca is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Ma-Ayon is a municipality comprising 32 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Jebaca, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Capiz, which contains 473 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Jebaca ranks 358th by 2020 population.
