Barangay Old Guia

Situated in Ma-Ayon, Capiz, Barangay Old Guia is one of 32 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Old Guia had a population of 884. This made it the 28th largest of 32 barangays in Ma-Ayon by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Old Guia accounted for approximately 2.14% of the total population of Ma-Ayon, which stood at 41,226 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Old Guia changed from 860 to 884, a shift of +2.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Ma-Ayon.
