Barangay Tuburan

Barangay Tuburan forms part of Ma-Ayon, a municipality in Capiz, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tuburan had a population of 2,559. This made it the 1st largest of 32 barangays in Ma-Ayon by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tuburan moving from 2,282 residents to 2,559 residents, an intercensal change of +12.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Tuburan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
