Barangay Talibong Pequeño

Situated in Mina, Iloilo, Barangay Talibong Pequeño is one of 22 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Talibong Pequeño had a population of 549. This made it the 19th largest of 22 barangays in Mina by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Talibong Pequeño accounted for approximately 2.28% of the total population of Mina, which stood at 24,042 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 531 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 549 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +3.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Talibong Pequeño as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
