Barangay Mabuhay

Barangay Mabuhay is a mid-sized barangay in the City of Valencia, located in the province of Bukidnon, in the Northern Mindanao region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mabuhay had a population of 3,997. This made it the 19th largest of 31 barangays in City of Valencia by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Mabuhay accounted for approximately 1.85% of the total population of City of Valencia, which stood at 216,546 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Mabuhay moving from 3,723 residents to 3,997 residents, an intercensal change of +7.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Mabuhay is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Valencia is a city comprising 31 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Mabuhay, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Bukidnon, which contains 464 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Mabuhay ranks 118th by 2020 population.
